This policy explains how Fabrication TEK-NIC ("we") collects, uses and protects personal information when you visit the website or send us a request. It is established in accordance with Quebec's Act to modernize legislative provisions as regards the protection of personal information (Law 25).

2. Information we collect

• Quote request and contact form: name or company, email, phone, type of service requested and the project description you voluntarily send us, as well as any files you attach (drawings, plans).
• Applications (Careers page): if you apply, your optional resume (CV) and the information it contains, used only to assess your application.
• Email or phone: the information you give us directly when you write to us or call us.
• Technical information: IP address, browser type and pages viewed, only in our host's security logs.

We do not collect sensitive information and do not ask for a social insurance number.

3. Why we use it

• To respond to your quote or information request.
• To communicate with you about an ongoing project.
• To ensure the security and proper operation of the site.

We do not use your information for targeted advertising or profiling.

4. Consent

By submitting a form or writing to us, you consent to our using the information provided to respond to your request. You may withdraw your consent at any time by writing to the address indicated above.

5. Retention

We keep quote and information requests for 3 years after the last contact, and job applications (including resumes) for 2 years, then destroy or anonymize them, unless the law requires a longer retention period (for example for billing records).

6. Disclosure to third parties and transfer outside Quebec

We do not sell or rent your personal information. Certain providers help us run the site:

• Netlify (site hosting and reception of requests sent through the quote form), whose servers may be located in the United States.
• Google Analytics (aggregate traffic statistics), if you accept cookies. The data (anonymized IP address, pages viewed, visit duration) may be processed in the United States.
• Google (map embedded in the Contact page), if you accept third-party cookies. See the cookie policy.

These transfers may result in information being disclosed outside Quebec. We limit these disclosures to what is necessary.

7. Your rights

You may at any time:

• request access to your personal information;
• request its correction if it is inaccurate or incomplete;
• withdraw your consent or request its deletion, subject to legal obligations;
• ask to be informed of the information we hold about you.

To exercise these rights, write to us at info@fabricationteknic.com. We reply within 30 days.

If you believe we are not handling your information in accordance with the law, you may file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec (cai.gouv.qc.ca).

8. Confidentiality incidents

In the event of a confidentiality incident presenting a risk of serious injury, we notify the Commission d'accès à l'information and the persons concerned, and we keep a register of such incidents, as required by law.
